Hero to sponsor Shiva Keshavan

Shiva, who will be competing in the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, scheduled in Korea from February 9, will be supported by Hero Electronix and Hero FinCorp.

Shiva, who has so far won four Asian gold medals, four silver and two bronze, will compete in his sixth Olympics

The fastest Asian on ice, Shiva Keshavan, set to compete in his sixth Olympics will be supported by Hero Electronix and Hero FinCorp, according to a release issued here on Tuesday. Part of the Hero group, the two companies have been supporting Shiva for the last few years, as he participated and won several medals at the International Luge championships. Shiva, who will be competing in the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, scheduled in Korea from February 9, had won the gold in the recent Asian Luge Championships in Alternberg, Germany, with a time of 55.60 seconds. Shiva had made his Olympic debut in Nagano in 1998. Only Leander Paes with seven successive Olympics and Randhir Singh with six Olympics in the Summer Games, have that many appearances in the Indian context.
