Raja Randhir Singh appointed OCA Coordination Committee Chairman

The Coordination Committee will be responsible for the conduct of the five different Games organised by the OCA including the Asian Games.

The life vice-president of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and its former secretary general, Raja Randhir Singh, was appointed as the Chairman of the Coordination Committee of the OCA, during the 38th OCA General Assembly held recently in Bangkok. 

The Coordination Committee will be responsible for the conduct of the five different Games organised by the OCA, the Asian Games, the Asian Winter Games, the Asian Beach Games, the Asian Youth Games and the Asian Indoor Games.

"I take this opportunity to congratulate you on your nomination as Chairman of the Coordination Committee of OCA for the period 2019-2023. It is an honour you richly deserve’’, wrote the President of the OCA, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah.

The former member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the secretary general of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) Randhir Singh said that he was looking forward to putting his 50-odd years of association with sports to good use in executing the job entrusted to him.
