Rathore grants ₹5 lakhs to Manipuri fencer

Sports minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has sanctioned ₹5 lakh from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay National Welfare Fund for Sportspersons to fencer Kh. Kalambia Chanu for medical treatment.

“Chanu, who hails from Manipur, is suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and could not continue her sports and living in indigent conditions,” a ministry release said.
