Universiade Shooting: Achal Prathap Singh, Shri Nivetha lose out on bronze
The Indian pair was consistent in the two stages of qualification, grabbing the fourth spot in a field of 18 teams.

Achal Prathap Singh Grewal and P. Shri Nivetha were beaten to the bronze medal 16-12 by the Italians in the mixed air pistol team event in the 30th Universiade in Napoli, Italy, on Tuesday.
The Indian pair was consistent in the two stages of qualification, grabbing the fourth spot both the times with scores of 569 and 566, in a field of 18 teams.
Korea was consistently brilliant in qualification with scores of 580 both the times, but erred in the gold-medal match and got beaten by Chinese Taipei 16-10.
In men’s skeet, Asian champion Angad Vir Singh Bajwa shot 122 out of 125 to qualify for the final in the third place. He had a series of 24, 24, 25, 25 and 24.
The other Indian in the field of 18 shooters, Indreshwar Sekhon shot 101 and placed 17th.
