Otters Int'l: Joshna through to semis, Dipika crashes out

Joshna Chinappa moved through to the semifinals at the Otters International with a comfortable victory over Liu Tsz-Ling, but Dipika Pallikal crashed out.

Joshna Chinappa beat Liu Tsz-Ling 11-7, 5-11, 11-5, 11-5.

The No. 6 seed from Wales, Tesni Evan, eliminated India’s Dipika Pallikal after a 64-minute skirmish in the quarterfinals of the JSW Indian Squash Circuit Otters International 2016 at the Otters Club here on Friday. Tesni beat India’s No. 4 seed Dipika 15-13, 8-11, 12-10, 11-8.

But the No. 2 seed in the women’s USD 35,000 tournament, Joshna Chinappa, entered the semifinals defeating Hong Kong’s Liu Tsz-Ling in four games.
