Asian Junior Individual C'ships: Veer Chotrani enters semifinals

India's Veer Chotrani made it to the semifinals in the Boys' U-19 category at the Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship in Macau, defeating top seed Siow Yee Xian of Singapore in five games.

With this win, he has assured himself of a medal in the event.

Down 2-1 in the contest at one point, Veer fought well to put it across his higher-rated opponent.

Overall, seven Indians will feature in the last four in various age categories. Thus, seven medals are assured for India.
