Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar will present some of his memorabilia to the proposed Cricket Museum at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
Last Wednesday, Gavaskar met Lonnie Ali, widow of the boxing legend, Muhammad Ali and the Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer at Louisville and discussed ways of establishing a Cricket Museum at the Muhammad Ali Centre.
It was the former India batting maestro’s second visit in two years to the home town of the boxing legend. In October 2017, Gavaskar was in Louisville to inaugurate a cricket ground named after him. The Louisville Sports Commission Board Member, Jai Bokey and Fischer believe that their vision of making Louisville a cricket destination of the USA is finally taking shape.
