Bopanna-Vasselin in Miami Open second round

Rohan Bopanna and Edouard Roger Vasselin progressed to the second round of the Miami Open after a 4-6, 6-2, 14-12 win over the pair of Adrian Mannarino and Daniil Medvedev.

Rohan Bopanna in partnership with Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France saved four matchpoints while beating Adrian Mannarino of France and Daniil Medvedev of Russia 4-6, 6-2, 14-12 in the doubles first round of the Miami Open. In the pre-quarterfinals, Bopanna and Vasselin  will play Steve Johnson and Sam Querrey of the US who beat the top seeds Lukasz Kubot of Poland and Marcelo Melo of Brazil 6-4, 7-6(0).  

Jeevan-Raja pair ousted In the Challenger doubles final in France, fourth seeds Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Purav Raja were beaten 10-7 in the super tie-break by the unseeded pair of Hugo Nys of Francce and Tim Puetz of Germany. The champion team collected 80 ATP points and € 2,670, while the runner-up got 48 points and € 1,550.
