French Open qualifiers: Prajnesh through to round three

Prajnesh Gunneswaran notched up an impressive a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Marcelo Arevalo to advance to the third round of the French Open qualifiers on Wednesday.

Round one report: Prajnesh progresses, Sumit & Ramkumar ousted

The Indian broke Arevalo's serve in the ninth game and subsequently held serve to clinch the first set. Prajnesh was at his attacking best in the second set and gave his opponent no chance at a comeback, breaking his serve on three consecutive game to seal the set in all of 26 minutes. 

He will play Elias Ymer in the next round.
