The Indian boys beat Uzbekistan 3-0 to ensure a quarterfinal berth in the Asia Oceania World Junior under-14 tennis tournament in Bangkok on Tuesday.
It was the second victory for India after the one over Kazakhstan. India will play Korea on Wednesday to decide the group topper.
Incidentally, both India and Korea have not dropped a set in two matches each.
The results (league): India bt Uzbekistan 3-0 (Nishant Dabas bt Abdurakhmov Saidmukhamedov 7-5, 6-2; VM Sandeep bt Samandar Abdumalikov 6-4, 7-5; Nishant Dabas & Divesh Gahlot bt Samandar Abdumalikov & Fayzullo Mirzaganiev 6-4, 6-2).
