After Asian Games gold, Manjit is now a positive athlete

Indian athlete Manjit Singh, who won gold in the men’s 800m race during the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta, says he has been in a positive frame of mindset ever since.

Indian athlete Manjit Singh, who won gold in the men’s 800m race during the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta, says he has been in a positive frame of mindset ever since.

"The experience was very good, and the Indians in Indonesia supported a lot, and so did the Indonesian public. When my name was announced during the starting lineup, it felt really good," said Manjit, following his return from Indonesia.

Manjit said that next year will be crucial for him as the Asian Championships and World Championships are lined up.
