On the other hand, the gritty Sumit Nagal battled cramps and fatigue to overcome Brydan Klein 6-4, 4-6, 7-5. Yuki Bhambri was untroubled in his 6-2, 7-6 (0) victory against Spaniard Pedro Martinez and he will face Prajnesh Gunneswaran, who beat Marc Polmans (Aus) 6-2, 6-7  (1), 6-1, in an all-Indian quarterfinal.
