The Indian mixed-doubles team of Ashwini Ponnapa and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy on Saturday bowed out of the Dutch Open with a loss to England’s Marcus Ellis and Lauren Smith in the semifinals.
The Indian pair lost 21-14, 21-18 to its eighth seeded English opponent. The match lasted 37 minutes.
