Young Indian hoopsters put up an impressive show in the ongoing FIBA Asia U18 Championship as India defeated Iraq 93-83.

The game required overtime as both teams ended at 77-77 after the four quarters.

However, India emerged victorious after scoring 16 points in overtime.

Baladhaneshwar Poiyamozhi was the top performer for India with 31 points and 5 rebounds.

Seniors lose to Korea

The senior team lost 97-55 to Korea in the William Jones Cup. Korea dominated the game and showed its class.

It outplayed India 29-9 in the first quarter and continued its domination throughout the game.
