Gaurav settles for silver at President’s Cup boxing

The Indian lost to Kazakhstan’s Vasiliy Levit in the final.

About 150 boxers are participating in the tournament.

Indian boxer Gaurav Chauhan (91kg) settled for a silver medal after going down in the final of the President’s Cup in Astana, Kazakhstan on Saturday.

Gaurav lost to Kazakhstan’s Vasiliy Levit as India ended with a silver and a bronze at the event. In the women’s draw, Lovlina Boroghain (75kg) had settled for a bronze medal at the event.

The tournament featured both men’s and women’s competition with close to 150 boxers vying for the top honours.
