India had a medal rush on Sunday, with shooters, weightlifters and paddlers contributing to the tally.

6:10pm: It was medal rush on Sunday, with India winning three golds, one silver and one bronze. Punam Yadav started off the day by bagging a weightlifting gold, then the 16-year-old Manu Bhaker shattered Commonwealth record to clinch gold and at the end it was the historic first ever title win for the women's table tennis team. 5:23 pm: Manika Batra does it as India creates history by winning first ever gold in women's team table tennis. India beats Singapore 3-1 with Manika winning the two singles matches. It is seventh gold medal for India.

4:59 pm: In 100m Men's Butterfly swimming, India's Sajan Prakash fails to qualify for the finals after finishing fifth in the semis.
4:56 pm: Coming back to the women's team table tennis final. Mouma Das/Madhurika Patkar have given India 2-1 lead against Singapore after winning their doubles match.
4:45 pm: S.V. Sunil scores the winner in the dying minutes as India beats Wales 4-3. India next faces Malaysia on Tuesday.
4:38 pm: GOAL. India now back in the lead. IND 4-3 WAL. Harmanpreet the scorer.
4:36 pm: Manpreet Singh leaves the turf after taking a hit on the chest.
4:31 pm: India managed to take a 3-2 lead by converting a PC but Wales immediately struck back to make it 3-3. Will India play out another draw?
4:26 pm: India has not been able to convert the penalty corners. The scoreline still 2-2 and not much of time left in the match.
4:20 pm: Singapore has drawn level in Match 2, with Mangyu Yu defeating India's Madhurika Patkar 13-11, 11-2, 11-6.
4:08 pm: End of the third quarter and Wales manages to find the equaliser. IND 2-2 WAL.
3:57 pm: Shifting our focus from hockey to table tennis women's team final. Manika Batra has given India 1-0 lead against Singapore.
3:55 pm: At the start of third quarter, India gets two penalty corners but fails to convert them. Wales defense has been really impervious. IND 2-1 WAL
3:42 pm: And that will be half-time, with the scoreline IND 2-1 WAL. Dilpreet and Mandeep scoring for India.
3:39 pm: GOAL. India again back in the lead by successfully converting a penalty corner. Wales, though, got it reviewed to see the goal getting cleared. IND 2-1 WAL.
3:32 pm: Wales defense has been really solid, but India been relentless in its attacks. IND 1-1 WAL.
3:28 pm: Meanwhile, the India women's table tennis final against Singapore has got underway.

3:12 pm: India were held to a 2-2 draw by Pakistan in its first match on Saturday. Wales as a team won't be a pushover, but so far in the first quarter India has been dominating. Scoreline still 0-0.

12:31 pm: Papua New Guinea’s Steven Kari, who has won gold medal in men's 94kg weightlifting, broke the Commonwealth as well as the Games record in clean and jerk with a total lift of 370kg! Canada's Boady Santavy won silver with a total lift of 369kg, while India's Vikas Thakur won bronze with a total lift of 351kg.
India must feel proud indeed!

12:09 pm: Vikas Thakur has won bronze in the men's 94kg weightlifting with a total lift of 351kg. He has won India's fifth medal of the day.
12:07 pm: Sajan Prakash has qualified for the semifinals having finished second in 100m butterfly heats (54.11 seconds). The semifinals begin at 16:28 IST.
11:58 am: Saniya Sheikh finishes fourth, an effort which she can be proud of.

9:28 am: Mary Kom assures India of a medal in women's 45 to 48kg boxing, after beating Megan Gordon of Scotland.
9:25 am: This is shaping up to be a medal-laden day for the Indian athletes, who have already won three medals (two gold and one silver).
8:55 am: India women's hockey team has beaten England 2-1, with Navneet Kaur and Gurjit Kaur scoring a goal apiece and helping India to a comeback win.
8:50 am: Manu Bhaker wins gold in women's 10m air pistol! This is now India's sixth gold medal — and first in shooting — at the Games. With Heena Sidhu bagging silver, India's medal tally now stands at nine!
Yet another morning has begun with an Indian weightlifter winning a gold medal, taking India's medal tally to seven with five gold, one silver and one bronze. Punam Yadav, competing in the women's 69kg weightlifting, clinched gold with a total lift of 222kg.
