The BCCI has maintained its opposition to some of the reforms recommended by the Lodha committee and decided to wait for the Supreme Court's verdict on the matter.

The Supreme Court on Friday further shifted the hearing of the Lodha Panel-BCCI case until December 14 on Friday. The hearing which was earlier supposed to take place on December 5 was shifted to Friday as the Chief Justice of India, T. S. Thakur, was unwell and on leave.

The BCCI has maintained its opposition to some of the reforms recommended by the Lodha committee and decided to wait for the Supreme Court's verdict on the matter.

At a Special General Meeting in New Delhi, the Board did not take any decision on the recommendations, but it was learnt from sources that state associations have been told to keep a Plan B ready in case the verdict is not favourable from the apex court.

Lodha Committee has sought directions on appointment of former union Home Secretary G. K. Pillai as an observer and removal of all BCCI office-bearers.
