CAB to provide technical support to Bhutan
The Cricket Association of Bengal enters into an exchange programme with the Bhutan Cricket Council Board.

The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has finalised an exchange programme with the Bhutan Cricket Council Board (BCCB) to help develop cricket in the neighbouring country.
Technical support will be provided to Bhutan and age-group matches will be held for players under the aegis of the two cricket boards.
On Wednesday, Ugyen Dorji (Cricket Operations Manager, BCCB) met Sourav Ganguly (president, CAB), Avishek Dalmiya (joint-secretary, CAB), and Subrata Sarkar (chairman, tournament committee, CAB) to discuss the details of the programmes.
“As part of the exchange programmes, CAB will play five U-16 and five U-19 matches in March and April spread over 10 days each. While the U-16 will be 40-over games, the other will be 50-over matches. CAB has also agreed to provide assistance with respect to coaching faculty for their junior national teams,” Dalmiya said.
CAB will also provide practice facilities to Bhutan’s national cricket team before the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tournaments scheduled for March-April, 2019.
