Caribbeans land in India amid drum rolls
The West Indies cricket team arrived in Vadodara for the warm-up fixture against Board President XI before the first Test against India in Rajkot from October 4.

The West Indies cricket team arrived in Vadodara on Thursday for the two-Test series against India starting October 4.
The contingent, led by Jason Holder, had a warm reception at the hotel. They walked out of the bus amid drum rolls and witnessed traditional Indian music and dance.
The Caribbeans will commence the series with a two-day warm-up fixture against Board President XI at the Gujarat State Fertilizer Corporation Ground in Vadodara on Saturday.
The Indian squad is expected to be announced by Saturday, depending on off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and speedster Ishant Sharma's fitness tests .
