According to the BCCI guidelines, accessed by

Sportstar , the knockouts will be played in a soft biosecure bubble.

There will be an option for the players to share the room in the Ranji knockouts, like the recently-concluded Col. C.K. Nayudu Trophy and the ongoing Senior Women’s T20 Championship. Ever since the pandemic hit, the domestic players were prohibited from sharing rooms.

Despite Bengaluru having five grounds with First Class stadium, it will be interesting to see if the schedule is further tweaked to ensure the final is played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the only broadcast-friendly facility.

Chinnaswamy Stadium is scheduled to host India’s T20I versus South Africa on June 19. With the final announced for June 20, either it will have to be postponed by a couple of days or be played at a smaller venue with digital streaming arrangements.
