Arthur is only the latest of foreign coaches - the late Bob Woolmer, Geoff Lawson and Dav Whatmore, to be at the helm of the Pakistan side and draw flak for team’s poor show.

Former Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yousuf has called for the sacking of current team coach Mickey Arthur post the humiliating defeat against arch-rival India in its Champions Trophy encounter on Sunday.

The highly anticipated match at Edgbaston proved anti-climactic as Pakistan was thrashed by 124 runs (D/L method), extending its winless streak against the Men in Blue to three years.

Yousuf said Arthur has failed to make any positive influence on the players and that it is time to finally admit why Pakistan slipped to number eight in ICC ODI rankings.

About the high octane match against India, the 42-year-old said Pakistan’s bowling order was not chosen correctly and that it was just ridiculous to declare Junaid Khan and Hasan Ali bowlers of same style, as one is a left-arm bowler and the other a right-arm seamer, reports DunyaNews.
