England's comprehensive 119-run win over New Zealand has dealt a severe blow to Pakistan's chances of qualifying for the 2019 World Cup semifinals.

However Sarfaraz Ahmed and Co. still have a mathematical possibility.  Pakistan will need to bat first against Bangladesh in its last league match on Friday and dismiss the latter for 84 and win by 316 runs or amass 350, and dismiss the opponent for a meagre 38 and win by 312 runs.

However, if Bangladesh bats first then Pakistan will be knocked out. That said, New Zealand's Net Run Rate (+0.175) is far superior than Pakistan (-0.792) which makes the Kane Williamson-led side an automatic contender for the last-four spot. But it's still a game of glorious uncertainties and the Pakistan fans would be hoping against hope.
