IND vs SA: Nadeem replaces Kuldeep in India's squad for Ranchi Test

Jharkhand's left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem has replaced Kuldeep Yadav in India's squad for the third and final Test against South Africa, starting Saturday in Ranchi.

The decision to leave out Kuldeep was taken after the chinaman bowler complained of left shoulder pain on Friday.

Nadeem has been in prolific form for Jharkhand and India A over the years. He had finished with 50 wickets in two consecutive editions of the Ranji Trophy. Overall, the 30-year-old has taken 424 wickets in 110 first-class matches with 19 five-wicket and five 10-wicket hauls.

In 2018, Nadeem was called up to India's ODI team for the home T20I series against the West Indies but didn't play a game.
