Amitabh Choudhary is the secretary of the BCCI.

Amitabh Choudhary will represent the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in International Cricket Council (ICC) meetings, the board announced in a communique on Saturday. Rahul Johri, the BCCI Chief Executive Officer (CEO), will accompany Chaudhary to attend the meeting of CEOs, in the ICC Annual Conference in London scheduled to begin on Monday, June 19.

The conference will likely result in a final decision taken on the new financial and governance model agreed upon by most full members of the ICC. The BCCI has opposed it and was pondering its withdrawal from the ongoing Champions Trophy as a protest against the ICC’s proposal.

Vikram Limaye was earlier the BCCI representative in ICC meetings. The Committee of Administrators member will quit the board to join the National Stock Exchange.
