Sourav Ganguly is the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).

Steering clear of giving an opinion on the Lodha Committee reforms which have been made binding by the Supreme Court, former India captain Sourav Ganguly said the matter is for the BCCI to decide.

"The BCCI will decide on the recommendations of Lodha Panel and we will work according to that. Give us some more time as it will take time to resolve. Let’s see what happens in this matter," said Ganguly, who was here to take part in the MP Cricket Association (MPCA) function.

When asked about his opinion on Lodha committee recommendations as an administrator and former player he said, “Since the Supreme Court has given a decision on the matter, it is not proper for me to comment on it publicly.”

The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president praised the Indian team’s performance against West Indies in the ongoing series. He said West Indies team is no longer the formidable team it used to be.

On Test captain Virat Kohli, Ganguly said, “He is a great player and will serve Indian cricket for a long time. He will become the world’s all time great player.”
