Asia Cup 2018: Schedule confirmed for Super Four stage

The Super Four stage kicks off with India taking on Bangladesh on September 21 in Dubai and Pakistan playing Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi.

India will meet Pakistan again in the Super Four stage, and possibly in the final.

The schedule for the upcoming Super Four stage of the ongoing Asia Cup was confirmed on Wednesday, with defending champions India having already qualified, along with arch-rival Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

The Super Four stage kicks off with India taking on Bangladesh on September 21 in Dubai and Pakistan playing Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi. Interestingly, India would be playing all it's matches in Dubai, including the final, if it manages to qualify.

Meanwhile, India will meet Pakistan again in the Super Four stage, and possibly in the final. The confirmation of the Super Four stage schedule means that the result of Wednesday's high-profile Indo-Pak tie won't have any relevance whatsoever.

Super 4 schedule: September 21: India vs Bangladesh in Dubai; Pakistan vs Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi. September 23: India vs Pakistan in Dubai; Afghanistan vs Bangladesh in Abu Dhabi. September 25: India vs Afghanistan in Dubai. September 26: Pakistan vs Bangladesh in Abu Dhabi. September 28: Final in Dubai (All matches start at 5 p.m. IST)
