IPL: Maxwell reprimanded for showing dissent

Glenn Maxwell was reprimanded by match referee Roshan Mahanama for showing dissent at an umpire's decision in the IPL match between Kings Xi Punjab and Delhi Daredevils on Friday.

Glenn Maxwell was dismissed for a duck by Amit Mishra.

Glenn Maxwell, the Kings XI Punjab batsman, was reprimanded by match referee Roshan Mahanama for shoeing dissent at an umpire's decision during his team's eight-wicket loss to Delhi Daredevils, in an IPL match on Friday.

A press release conveying this, said: ”In the VIVO IPL match in Delhi last evening, Glen Maxwell of Kings XI Punjab was reprimanded by the Match Referee for showing dissent at the umpire’s decision. Maxwell admitted to the level 1 offence (Article 2.1.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials) and accepted the sanction."

Maxwell was dismissed for a duck by legspinner Amit Mishra, and gave away 11 runs in his wicketless over when Delhi Daredevils batted.
