Karun Nair said that the team management takes the call and the players support the decision.

After his valiant 41 in a losing cause for the Delhi Daredevils, Karun Nair was non-committal on changes in his side. “The team management takes the call and we as players have to support that”.

Was it slow batting due to the pitch or good bowling that did them in? “I think the pitch was a little two-paced. But we lost wickets at regular intervals. We didn't get a partnership going. If there's no partnership then it's tough to get that momentum for runs,” said the vanquished side’s top scorer.

Did Quinton de Kock's failure contribute to the low score? “You can't say that because all of them are quality batsmen. Like I said, we didn't get any partnerships. Even though we lost early wickets we could have got partnerships in the middle. Even in the middle we lost wickets. That's why we lost.”

On DD’s playoff prospects: “It's quite simple, we have to win two out of two. There's no room for error now and we have to just go out there and play positively.”

On the Supergiants’ bowling performance, Ashok Dinda said: “We were exceptional in the first six overs. We gave them no room. The plan was to bowl wicket to wicket, which we did.”

On his side’s struggles with the ball earlier, he replied: “It's a T20 game. Even if you bowl well, sometimes you get hit for a six. Sometimes when you bowl badly, you get a wicket. T20 is a funny game.”

On adjusting to pitches like these, the paceman said: “It's a beautiful wicket and I loved it. When I've bowled here I've always bowled fantastically, I believe.”
