Misbah-ul-Haq has hit six consecutive sixes in a rapid knock of 82 in the Hong Kong T20 blitz on Thursday. The Pakistan Test captain had been representing the Hong Kong Islands United. In the 19th and 20th overs of the innings, he targeted the bowlers - seamers Imran Arif and Ashley Caddy - to collect 40 runs off the last seven balls he faced. He hit two sixes off the last two balls of the 19th over, and resumed his big hitting when he was again on strike on the second ball of the 20th. He continued hitting sixes until the final ball of the innings, which was taken for a four.

Misbah’s 37-ball effort contained seven sixes and four fours. His team successfully defended the final score of 216 for 6, winning by 36 runs against Hung Hom Jaguars. This was the third match of the tournament, which will conclude on Sunday with the final.
