Mohammed Shami last played for India in the final ODI against Australia in Delhi on Wednesday that the visitor won.

The Kolkata Police has filed a chargesheet against India fast bowler Mohammed Shami.

News agency ANI in a tweet said that Shami has been charged under IPC 498A and 354A for dowry and sexual harassment cases respectively.

Earlier, Shami's wife Hasin Hajab had accused the pacer of indulging in extra-marital affair and even alleged that the fast bowler was involved in match-fixing.

The BCCI then swung into action by first omitting his name from the central contract list but later included him in the contracted list after investigations proved that the pacer wasn't guilty of any wrongdoing.

Shami was part of India's ODI squad that lost the five-match series 2-3 against Australia.
