New Zealand women's cricketer Rosemary Mair on Thursday registered a double hat-trick maiden to return mindboggling figures of 4-4-0-4 in an inter-district match during the Shrimpton Trophy.
Playing for the Hawke’s Bay, Mair first impressed with the bat, blasting 33 off just 16 balls with two fours and three sixes, before running through Taranaki's line-up at the Whanganui’s Victoria Park.
Chasing 264 to win, Taranaki was skittled for a paltry 56, thanks largely to Mair's spellbinding bowling.
Mair was handed her central contract earlier this year and has, so far, featured in three one-day internationals and as many T20Is. She made her debut against India in February this year.
