Rahmanullah Gurbaz moved back up to top spot in the leading run-scorers list of the T20 World Cup 2024 after the Super Eight fixture between Afghanistan and Bangladesh in Kingstown, St. Vincent on Tuesday.
Earlier, Travis Head has taken the top spot after Australia’s Super Eight match against India on Monday.
Gurbaz scored a 53-ball 43 to move back up past Head who aggregated 76 runs against India. Ibrahim Zadran moved up above Nicholas Pooran into third after his 18-run knock.
While Pooran has 228 runs from seven innings, USA’s Andries Gous is fifth in the standings with 219 runs from six matches.
