The 12 bowlers, including former first class cricketer, Rajesh Pawar, have not been played since being reported.

The on-field umpires in the ongoing T20 Mumbai League have reported nine bowlers for suspect action to the authorities. These bowlers, including former first class cricketer, Rajesh Pawar, have not been played since being reported.

The Mumbai Cricket Association Managing Committee, which met on Monday, took stock of the situation. “The respective teams have been told by the umpires that the nine bowlers are on the radar,” said a MCA office bearer.

The managing committee has also taken action against Akhtar Shaikh, who played for North Mumbai Panthers. Akhtar played in a Twenty20 league in Rajasthan, by the name of Wasim Khan. Only MCA registered players are eligible to play in the league.

The MCA also considered the modalities to be completed before convening a SGM in mid April, mainly to give effect to the Justice Lodha Reforms.
