Team India will most likely sport orange jerseys for its World Cup Group match against England on June 30.
According to reports, India, who is currently donning the blue jersey will be wearing the 'away jersey' with orange being the dominant colour for its game against England.
According to the ICC rulebook: ''For televised ICC events all participating teams will be required to provide for two different coloured kits, except for the host country who has preference in the choice of colour and may, if it chooses to do so, provide only one coloured kit to be worn in all matches throughout the event. In advance of the event the teams will be notified which coloured kit will be worn in each match."
Reports further suggest that the new jersey will be orange in colour with the collar sporting a blue strip.
However, Virat Kohli and Co. are yet to see their new jerseys.
"Till last week, the Indian players had not seen their new jerseys," an executive was quoted by TOI .
"There is still confusion among various stakeholders whether the team would actually need to don new colours," he added.
This will be the first time that India may be seen sporting two different jerseys in World Cup after the ICC introduced the concept of home and away 'jerseys' for this year's World Cup.
