We asked some of the nation's biggest cricketing names, from Virender Sehwag to Yuvraj Singh, what their go-to films are.

This COVID-19 lockdown has all of us stuck at home and our cricketers are no exception. Besides checking out new films/shows, it is only natural of us to sometimes fall back on our all-time favourites. We asked some of the nation's biggest cricketing names what their go-to films are. How many of these movies would belong on your must-watch movies list?
Yuvraj Singh - Dilwale Dulhaniye Le Jayenge
The movie, shot in London, Switzerland, and much closer home in Punjab, resonated with Yuvraj. He says, "It shows a splendid mix of Indian and foreign cultures. [The movie] Had good music too."
Virender Sehwag - Sholay
For Sehwag, it was all about 'the story'. He adds, " The movie also has some iconic dialogues and a terrific debut by Amjad Khan as Gabbar Singh. The movie is a complete package."
Vinod Kambli - Agneepath
Kambli says, "My favourite movie is Agneepath because of the majestic performance of Amitabh Bachchan. It was a great story and there's that iconic line from Bachchan Sir: 'Main Vijay Dinanath Chauhan."
WV Raman - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
Raman picks the Clint Eastwood-starrer set in the 1960s because, "the dark side of human nature is projected in an engaging manner in this movie."
Parthiv Patel - Dil Chahta Hai Parthiv picks the 2001 hit movie. He says, "It has all the elements – youth, friendship, family, love and fun. The movie also has some superb music."
Harbhajan Singh -Dilwale Dulhaniye Le Jayenge
Yuvraj's fellow Punjabi Bhajju pa is a fan of the 1995 blockbuster, as well. "Wonderful story. Hit music. The movie portrayed the culture of Punjab and UK so well. I never got tired of watching it," says the India off-spinner.
VVS Laxman - 3 Idiots
The 2009 coming-of-age comedy-drama has always been "Very, Very Special" for VVS. "I am passionate about education and the movie drives home the importance of seeking education," he says.
Shikhar Dhawan - Sholay
His nickname is 'Gabbar'. That does not really leave much room for speculation, does it?
The India opener says, "It is a terrific movie with a fantastic star cast. It had the right story, acting and emotions. And of course, the legendary Amjad Khan as Gabbar."
Ashish Nehra - Sholay
To Ashish Nehra, Jai (Amitabh Bachchan) and Veeru (Dharmendra) became the very best representation of friendship on screen. "It was technically so appealing. The cast was amazing. A great debut by Amjad Khan as Gabbar. To me, the film drove home the symbol of friendship."
Kartik Murali - Ben Hur
The 1959 American classic should be on one's must-watch list if you ask the former left-arm spinner. He says, "It was a sensational movie made in a most captivating manner. Massive sets and the highlight was the breathtaking chariot race."
Anil Kumble - Dangal
The former India coach has always been a strict disciplinarian. So it was certainly no surprise when he chose the 2016 Amir Khan-starrer as his favourite flick. Kumble said, "Dangal nicely portrayed success story of a small town woman athlete. It documents her hard work, perseverance and determination."
