Chelsea struck three goals in the opening half-hour en route to a 3-0 win away to Everton in the Women's Super League on Wednesday to close the gap at the top to leader Arsenal to two points, with the Blues having a game in hand.

The win puts Chelsea on 38 points with 16 of its 22 league games played, with the Gunners on 40 points having played a game more.
