What a way for Manchester United to start its Premier League campaign.
After Luke Ayling's thunderous goal brought Leeds back into the match, everyone thought it was going to be a close contest but Solskjaer's men had other ideas.
Goals from Greenwood, Fernandes and Fred took the game away from Leeds as the match finished 5-1.

86' CLOSE- Raphinha should have clinched one back from Leeds. The United backline was exposed for a moment there as Raphinha found himself in space on the left. However, his shot is wide as a rooted De Gea heaved a sigh of relief. Sums up Raphinha's afternoon that shot.
83' BOOKING- Shaw sees a yellow as he catches Raphinha from behind.
82' Debutant Sancho, who is operating from the left, has not seen much of the ball till now. Surely just a matter of time till he starts to get involved.
79' Momentary concern around Old Trafford after Bruno Fernandes stayed down after colliding with Roberts. It was a painful one but the Portuguese shakes it off.

69' CHANGES- Nemanja Matic comes on for Scott Mctominay for Manchester United. Helder Costa comes in for Jack Harrison for Leeds.
68' GOOAAAALLLL!!!! ITS FRED!! GUESS WHO GAVE THE ASSIST?? YES, ITS POGBA AGAIN!!! ITS FIVE NOW!!
66' FOR ALL THE UNITED FANS: Old Trafford erupts as Jadon Sancho is sent for a warmup.
62' BOOKING- Raphinha sees a yellow for his challenge on Shaw.
60' GOOOOAAAALL!! ITS BRUNO FERNANDES AGAIN!!!! ITS AN OPENING DAY HAT TRICK!!! Lindelof with a wonderful floating ball towards Bruno, who timed his run perfectly. He rifles the shot past a helpless Meslier to clich a hat-trick.
58' Finally some time to take a breather. Wow. Just wow. What a second half we are having folks. Old Trafford is absolutely buzzing.
53' GOOOOAAALLLLLL!!!!! ITS BRUNO AGAIN!!!! POGBA WITH ANOTHER ASSIST!!! WOW WHAT A SECOND HALF!! Pogba, the creator again as he plays Bruno into space. He does the well to keep the ball and cuts back to his left foot and fires a shot. Ayling claimed to have cleared the ball off the line but goal line technology showed that whole of the ball crossed the line.
52' GOOOAAAALLLLLL!!!!! ITS GREENWOOD!!! WHAT A FINISH!! POGBA ASSIST!!! LEEDS' LEAD LASTED FOR ABOUT THREE MINUTES!! A great counter-attack by United as Pogba threads an inch-perfect ball to Greenwood, who drove a low-shot across Meslier's goal, which went in off the inside of the post.
49' GOAALLLLLLLL!!! ITS A BELTER BY AYLING!! NOTHING DE GEA COULD DO ABOUT THAT!!! Klich rolled the ball to Ayling, who was not closed down. His shot sails past a diving De Gea.
46' LEEDS CHANGE- Debutant Junior Firpo comes in for Rodrigo.
SECOND HALF UNDERWAY!!
It was an entertaining half as both teams have shown ample attacking intent. United's should have opened its scoring in the 13th minute as Pogba found himself one-on-one with Meslier but missed the target.
However, the Frenchman redeemed himself in the 31st minute as he threaded a brilliant ball to Bruno Fernandes, who made no mistake in putting the ball inside the net.
Leeds United continued pressurising the United backline but Maguire and Lindelof have done a good job of dealing with Leed's attacking threat till now.

45' SAVE- An easy save by Meslier as James scuffs his shot from the left flank.
43' Bruno's corner finds Mctominay and Maguire at the backpost but they are marked heavily by Leeds defenders. Mctominay's header is wide.
41' Greenwood does well to keep the ball and pass it to James, whose cross inside the box is a disappointing one.
38' Leeds sticking to its gameplan and maintaining pressure on United's backline. Bamford is proving to be a nuisance for Lindelof with his runs. Its what Leeds does isn't it? Trademark of a Bielsa team.
36' SHOT- United in the mood. Its a great run by Shaw again. The in-form left back finds James on the right, whose shot is wide.
33' SHOT- Luke Shaw with a surging run down the left flank, which ends with a shot at Leeds' goal. Its just the side-netting.
31' GOOAAAAALLLLL!!!! ITS BRUNO FERNADES!!!!! POGBA WITH THE ASSIST!! Pogba with a great first-time ball to Fernandes, who showed great skill to keep it in control and guide the ball past Meslier. The Leeds keeper got a touch but not enough to keep it out.
29' United breaks again, engineered by Mctominay's brilliant hold-up play. Bruno threads a pass to James but it was heavy as Meslier reaches the ball before the Welshman.
25' CLOSE- Leeds got a freekick at the edge of United's box and almost made the home team pay. Raphinha's delivers a great ball, which found Rodrigo's head but his header sailed wide.
23' As expected neither team sitting back, making way for a match which is easy on the eye.
20' CLOSE- Greenwood threads a pass to James but it was a bad first touch by the Welsh international. The ball got away from him and the angle became tighter. His subsequent cross in the box cleared by Ayling.
18' It has been an open match till now. United was the better team in the opening minutes but Leeds has found its footing.
16' SHOT- Leeds now with the break, which ends with Klich curling one towards the far-post. It was a good shot but at a comfortable height for De Gea as the Spaniard makes the save.
13' POGBAA!! How did he not score there? A great release by Greenwood, and Pogba was one-on-one with the keeper. However, his dink past Meslier is wide of goal.
11' Wow what happened there? Raphinha with a sloppy pass back to Koch, who found Greenwood closing in faster than he would have liked. Greenwood's deflected shot was lobbing towards goal but Meslier got his gloves and sent it out for a corner.
8' Leeds with its first attacking move of the match as Klich lifts a cross hoping to find Bamford's head. Mctominay's interception gives Leeds its first corner.
6' SHOT- Greenwood takes a shot from quite some distance with his left. He didn't catch that well enough as Meslier colects the ball without much fuss.
4' United on the front foot in the opening minutes of the game as it gets its second corner. Nothing comes of it and Meslier's leaps and collects it.
2' SHOT- A feisty start as Mctominay takes a shot at Meslier's goal. It is blocked and United gets its first corner.

Manchester United starts the season at home against old rival, Leeds United. The 'Roses rivalry' or the Pennines Derby as it is more famously known has seen great matches over the years.
Last season, United thrashed then Premier League newcomer Leeds 6-2 when its faced Bielsa's side at home and drew the away match 0-0.
This season, Ole's men starts their campaign against what would be an energetic Bielsa side. New signing Raphael Varane is not available for the match but Solskjaer will have the services of Jadon Sancho.
