FIFA U-17 WC bow: 2007 Kroos scored five and was named the best player in the 2007 tournament in South Korea. He then won the most recent FIFA World Cup held in Brazil in 2014 where the Real Madrid midfielder played a starring role.

FIFA U-17 WC bow: 1991 Buffon was part of the first ever FIFA U-17 World Cup in Italy. The Juventus goalkeeper was part of the penalty shoot-out victory over France which handed Italy its World Cup crown in 2006.

FIFA U-17 WC bow: 1997 Ronaldinho is the only player to have won both the U-17 (1997) and the FIFA World Cup (2002). The Samba superstar's free-kick which caught out England's David Seaman is one of the most recalled World Cup moments.

FIFA U-17 WC bow: 2001 The la Masia graduate endured a disappointing outing in Trinidad & Tobago with Spain in 2001. In 2010, Iniesta rewrote the history books when when he scored the goal which clinched the World Cup for the Iberian nation.

FIFA U-17 WC bow: 1991 Totti was part of the same squad as Buffon as they went on to achieve FIFA World Cup glory in Germany in 2006. The striker retired from international football with the World Cup around his arms.
