The La Liga fixture between Barcelona and Las Palmas scheduled at Camp Nou on Sunday to be played behind closed doors due to violent protests in the city amid the Catalan Referendum, according to the Catalan club.
Violence broke out between the voters and the police ahead of the independence referendum scheduled on the same day.
Angry Barcelona supporters in the city wanted the match to be cancelled in the wake of the incidents surrounding the referendum.

Barcelona confirmed the situation on its social media site Twitter, saying, "FC Barcelona condemns the events which have taken place in many parts of Catalonia today in order to prevent its citizens exercising their democratic right to free expression."
