FC Goa's Jackichand also featured for India in the AFC Asian Cup.

Defenders Mourtada Fall and Seriton Fernandes, and midfielders Lenny Rodrigues and Jackichand Singh have been an ever-present fixture in Sergio Lobera's side in the ongoing Indian Super League season. In fact, the quartet has featured in all of the team's 20 matches, displaying great levels of resilience and work ethic.

Jackichand also featured in 11 minutes for India at the 2019 AFC Asia Cup Championships in UAE. Based on form and fitness so far, the four players should feature in the starting XI against Bengaluru FC in the fight for the title.

Of the four, three are Indians and it a a proud achievement not only for the players but also to the Goa support staff. Seriton and Lenny are from Goa and Jackichand is from Manipur. Watching them will motivate more Goans and Manipuri kids to chase their ISL dreams. Senegal defender Fall gained club exposure in Morocco and Kuwait before turning to India.

Bengaluru, last season's finalist and league topper this season, do not have any such player. Three among those available for chief coach Carles Cuadrat, have each played 19 matches out of maximum possible 20 prior to the final. Goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh (first-choice India goalkeeper in AFC Asia Cup), midfielder Juanan and defender Rahul Bheke will stand a chance to take the field for the next game against FC Goa.
