Pro Kabaddi: Gujarat pips Jaipur, Patna struggles against UP
Patna and UP are both in contention for a place in the play-offs.

UP Yoddha produced an impressive team effort to best defending champion Patna Pirates 47-31 in a ProKabaddi League match here on Sunday.
UP Yoddha raiders, led by Prashant Kumar Rai (10 points), tormented the Patna defence throughout the match. Azad Singh, with 8 points, made a crucial contribution to Yoddha’s win.
It was a disappointing night for Pardeep Narwal who bagged just two points. Manjeet top-scored for Patna Pirates with 10 points.
Pirates is still in contention for a place in the play-offs but will need massive improvement. Yoddha, too, can make it to the knockouts.
In the second match, Gujarat Fortunegiants beat Jaipur Pink Panthers 34-29.
