Tour de France: Day five in pictures

Fabio Aru of Italy and the Astana Pro Cycling team won stage five of the 2017 Tour de France. He launched his attack with 2.4km left and with a 10-second time bonus on the line, he moved up to third overall, at just 14 seconds behind reigning champion, Chris Froome.
Dan Martin of Ireland and Quick-Step Floors finished, 16 seconds adrift of Aru. as Froome finished third, four seconds back.
Chris Froome of Great Britain and Team SKY finished third nd took over the yellow jersey from team-mate Geraint Thomas. Froome also gained the race lead.
Australia's Richie Porte of BMC Racing Team had a rather unsuccessful day and finished fourth, over 20 seconds behind Aru. Porte moved up to fifth at 39 seconds.
Last year's runner up, Romain Bardet finished fifth, 24 seconds behind race winner Aru. Bardet is now seventh in the overall standings.
