Saurav Ghosal bows out of Montreal Open

India’s top seed Saurav Ghosal crashed out of the USD 25,000 Montreal Open with a 10-12, 12-10, 11-7, 17-15 loss to third seed Omar Abdel Meguid of Egypt in the semifinals.

Ghosal, reflecting on the defeat, said he saw a chance of a comeback in the fourth game that was eventually decided on extra points. The Egyptian, however, took that game 17-15 and with it, the match.
