100
The number of occasions India have managed to post 300+ total in ODI cricket. They, thus, became the first team in ODI history to achieve this landmark, in the match against Sri Lanka in Mohali, where they scored 392/4. It’s worth mentioning here that among Test-playing nations, excluding Bangladesh, India was the last team to record a 300+ total in ODIs on April 15, 1996. Therefore, India’s tally since then is even more impressive compared with other teams during this period: Australia (89), South Africa (74), Pakistan/Sri Lanka (62), England (51), New Zealand (47) and West Indies (30).
The table below lists teams that have managed to cross the 300-run mark at least once in ODIs.

By achieving this landmark in 95 innings, Dhawan becomes the sixth quickest in ODI history and the second quickest among Indians, after Virat Kohli (93 innings), to do so. THIS WEEK IN 1984 On January 6: The fifth and final Test against Pakistan in Sydney was the last day of their Test careers for the three Aussies — Dennis Lillee, Rodney Marsh and Greg Chappell. Interestingly, they all had made their Test debut in the same series, against England in 1970-71. At the end of their last Test, the three held the Test world record for: * Most wickets by a bowler (Lillee, 355) * Most dismissals by a wicket-keeper (Marsh, 355) * Most catches by a fielder (Chappell, 122) |
