Divij Sharan through to St. Petersburg semis

Divij Sharan and partner Igor Zelenay defeated Carballes Baena and Andres Molteni in the St. Petersburg doubles quarterfinals.

Divij Sharan in partnership with Igor Zelenay of Slovakia beat Roberto Carballes Baena of Spain and Andres Molteni of Argentina 7-5, 5-7, 10-5 in the doubles quarterfinals of the $1,248,665 ATP tennis tournament in St. Petersburg, Russia.

In the semifinals, Divij and partner will challenge the top seeds Nikola Mektic and Franko Skugor of Croatia.

In the Challenger in Kaohsiung, Saketh Myneni and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan were beaten in the doubles quarterfinals by the third seeds Cheng-Peng Hsieh and Tsung-Hua Yang of Chinese Taipei.

In the ITF men’s Futures in Nanchang, China, Anirudh Chandrasekar made the doubles final as the top seeds in partnership with Luca Castelnuovo of Switzerland. The duo will face Ruixuan Wang and Bingyu Yu of China in the final.

In a similar tournament in Turkey, Adil Kalyanpur made the doubles final with Kelsey Stevenson of Canada. the duo will face third seeds Jan Zielinski and Kacper Zuk of Poland.
