Top seeds Leander Paes and Purav Raja bounced back from being down 1-4 to beat Alexander Brown and Ezekiel Clark of the US 6-4, 6-1 in the doubles pre-quarterfinals of the $75,000 Challenger tennis tournament in the U.S.

In the $125,000 WTA event in Chinese Taipei, Prarthana Thombare in partnership with Luksika Kumkhum of Thailand was beaten 10-8 in the super tie-break of the doubles quarterfinals by Monique Adamczak and Naomi Broady. The Indo-Thai pair collected 29 WTA points and $750.

In the $60,000 ITF women’s event in Japan, Ankita Raina was beaten in straight sets by Miharu Imanishi of Japan in the pre-quarterfinals.
