Top seeds Divij Sharan in partnership with Scott Lipsky of the US made the doubles quarterfinals with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Jui-Chen Hung and Cheng-Yu Yu of Chinese Taipei in the $125,000 Challenger tennis tournament in Chinese Taipei on Wednesday. The Indian challenge in the ITF Futures in Thailand wound up as Sidharth Rawat and Sasi Kumar Mukund were beaten in the second round of singles and first round of doubles. In the ITF women’s event in Colombo, Nidhi Chilumula made it to the quarterfinals, while Riya Bhatia, Ramya Natarajan, Dhruthi Venugopal, Natasha Palha, Jennifer Luikham were yet to play their second round.
