Yuki raced to a 4-2 lead in the second set but failed to capitalise as Bemelmans registered a stunning comeback to take the next four games and win the set 6-4.

It was all Bemelmans here on as the Belgian offered Yuki no chance in the third set and sped to a 5-0 lead. Yuki held serve in the sixth game but only managed to delay the inevitable as Bemelmans clinched the next game to seal a first round victory.
