NBA execs, scouts, coaches believe Kevin Durant will sign with Knicks

Kevin Durant could very well be headed to New York.

After "several" NBA sources were asked where they thought Durant would sign next season, multiple individuals said the Knicks were likely to land the Warriors star, according to the New York Daily News . The survey indicated "most" NBA executives, agents, scouts and assistant coaches think the move will happen.

Durant has been involved in free agency rumors since the beginning of the season. He signed his second consecutive two-year deal with Golden State last summer, but could exercise a player option feature to become a free agent after this year.

Golden State Warriors is expected to challenge for a third consecutive NBA championship in 2019, but it seems uncertain about Durant's future.

The back-to-back NBA champion and two-time NBA Finals MVP is averaging 26.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 2018-19.

The Warriors have posted a 51-23 record, which is the best mark in the Western Conference.
