Anand recorded his fifth draw of the tournament by holding Netherlands' Anish Giri.

Viswanathan Anand’s sequence of draws stretched to five rounds after he split the point with Anish Giri in the sixth round of Croatia Grand Chess Tour here on Monday. For a change, the other five games proved decisive. Among these, Ding Liren upstaged overnight leader Ian Nepomniachtchi. Magnus Carlsen and Wesley So joined Nepomniachtchi at four points after fluent victories. The results
